May we bring props to our session?
Absolutely! Props can add interest and personality to your photos.  If you would like to include props, please let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

Will you suggest a location for the session?
We'd loved to share some of our favorite places! Don’t feel like you are limited to my suggestions. Also, please keep in mind that when kids are involved, it’s best to stick to a kid friendly location, such as a park, the beach, or your neighborhood. Pick a place where they are comfortable being themselves.

How long do sessions last?
Typically, a session will last anywhere from 1-3 hours. Session time varies depending on the session type selected. A beach session is up to an hour of shooting time and the Ultimate family session can last up to 3 hours.

How can we best prepare for the session?
Get yourself and your family excited about the session. Whether you go all out on a styled shoot or purchase new outfits for everyone. It’s great when you can involve the entire family.

When is payment due?
The session fee is due at time of booking. When ordering your portrait products, you can pay it all up front or break it up between ordering and pick up. We want you to love and cherish these products so we work with you to meet your family’s needs.

Is there a time that is better than others for outdoor photo sessions?
The best time for an outdoor photo session is either early in the morning or right around sunset.  I’ve found that the best light is usually the first hour or so after sunrise and an hour or so before sunset.  You want to make sure to factor in extra time just in case you happen to be running late, want to change outfits during the session, etc…

What type of payment do you accept?
I accept checks and all major credit cards.

I see a lot of ideas on Pinterest, can we suggest ideas for photos?
During the studio tour I will discuss your vision and my experience. If there is an image from Pinterest that you love, create a mood board for your shoot and we’ll look at it together.

What is included in a session?
All sessions include travel to the location, my services during the shoot and editing of the images.

How long after the session until I see my photos?
Just a few days! I will reach out shortly after the shoot to set up a time for you to come back and view the images to order your portrait products. Product turnaround time is usually 5-6 weeks depending on products purchased.
